Need ARC bass? Start with the space problem and the bass target.

A shallow truck box, an ultra-shallow application, a normal-depth daily system and a larger custom enclosure do not need the same driver. ARC has several current subwoofer families because the packaging problems are different.

We choose the woofer, enclosure and amplifier together. The model name by itself does not tell us whether it belongs in your vehicle.

Current ARC bass paths.

ARC Series

Standard-depth 8-, 10- and 12-inch options for systems where the enclosure has room for a conventional driver.

ARC Series subwoofers →

A-Series shallow

Shallow 10- and 12-inch options when mounting depth is one of the main constraints but the enclosure still needs to be designed correctly.

A-Series shallow →

SW ultra-shallow

Ultra-shallow 10- and 12-inch choices for the tighter applications where every inch of depth matters.

SW ultra-shallow →

X2 subwoofers

Current X2 10- and 12-inch subwoofers provide another conventional daily-system path when the enclosure and power plan fit them.

X2 subwoofers →

Shallow does not mean “ignore the box.”

Depth is only one constraint. We still account for net airspace, driver and port displacement, bracing, cone clearance, port area and tuning where applicable, final impedance and the way the enclosure loads into the vehicle.

That is why we treat subwoofer choice and enclosure design as the same conversation.

Our enclosure proof is vehicle-first.

The SMS bass gallery shows sealed, ported, under-seat, behind-seat, bandpass and high-output enclosures built around many different drivers and vehicles. Those projects prove the fabrication and packaging work; the current ARC product links above are the ARC choices we verify for a new ARC build.
