KICKER • SYSTEM PLANNING • REAL SMS BUILDS

You do not need the biggest KICKER product. You need the right KICKER system for the job.

Maybe the factory speakers sound flat. Maybe the truck needs bass without losing the back seat. Maybe the Jeep needs to stay clear with the top off. Maybe the bike needs more output at speed. Those are different problems, so they should not get the same parts list.

Tell us what is wrong now and how you want it to play. We work backward from that.

Start with the problem, not the series name.

The factory speakers are weak

Start with fitment, factory signal and how much amplifier power the new speakers will actually have.

KICKER speaker planning →

The truck needs bass

Seat clearance, usable airspace and the amount of bass you want decide whether the answer is shallow, loaded, custom or high-output.

KICKER bass planning →

The system needs more power

We match channel count, impedance, real RMS demand, signal and electrical support before choosing the amplifier.

KICKER amplifier planning →

The factory radio is staying

We figure out whether the OEM signal can feed the new system cleanly or whether it needs load support, correction, summing or DSP.

Factory integration →

It has to play outside the cabin

Jeep, motorcycle and powersports systems need projection, smart placement and enough charging-system capacity to support the output.

Open-air KICKER planning →

The goal is serious output

Once the build gets large, enclosure strength, wiring, batteries, alternator capacity, cooling and fabrication become part of the audio system.

KICKER KS coaxial speaker installation in a Dodge Ram by SMS Car Audio

Dodge Ram • KS speaker upgrade

A normal factory-location speaker job still comes down to correct mounting, fitment and the signal feeding the new speaker.

Harley-Davidson Road Glide with KICKER KMXL speakers installed by SMS Car Audio

Harley Road Glide • KMXL output

Open-air audio has to stay useful against wind, road and engine noise, so projection and placement matter as much as the speaker itself.

2016 Camaro with dual KICKER CompQ 12-inch subwoofers installed by SMS Car Audio

2016 Camaro • CompQ bass

The bass system was part of a larger processed system, so subwoofers, amplification and tuning were treated as one package instead of unrelated upgrades.
