Recoil Audio at SMS — Build for Clearer Sound, Strong Bass or More Output
Recoil gives us practical options for factory-audio upgrades, full-system amplification, daily bass, pro-style speakers and installation hardware. A good system is not about picking the biggest wattage number: the speaker location, amplifier channels, subwoofer enclosure and vehicle electrical system need to work together.
Choose the Recoil system direction
- Cleaner factory-radio sound: consider RX65 / RX69 coaxial speakers or RD component systems. Recoil MLOC interfaces can be part of an OEM-radio integration when the signal path is suitable.
- Amplify the whole system: compare M Series multichannel and mono options, DII amplifiers and compact RL Series. We size channels and power around actual speaker loads, not headline power claims.
- More daily bass: explore PW Echo Pro subwoofers and SW Echo Max. When mounting depth is tight, look at the SXS ultra-shallow series. Enclosure space and final impedance still determine the correct choice.
- High-output builds: combine appropriately selected MX pro coaxial speakers with the rest of the front stage, or plan around Black Myth SPL amplification where electrical capacity, protection and installation support the goal.
- Finish the installation correctly: butyl sound treatment and fused power-distribution hardware address different problems than speakers or amplifiers do.
The Parts Are Only One Part of the Build
SMS Car Audio checks factory-signal behavior, speaker fitment, crossover protection, actual impedance, wiring/fuse sizing, enclosure requirements and final tuning. Good value matters only when the part is right for the job. Use our system-planning guide or amplifier installation guide to see how the pieces work together.
